I invite you to spend a special, inspiring, and creative afternoon with a studio visit to the printmaking workshop at the Institute for Artistic Printmaking in Merano.
You’ll gain insight into the technical processes of relief and intaglio printing using a collagraph plate, and you’ll be able to actively take part in the process: inking, wiping, and printing the plate by hand on a traditional etching press, using high-quality cotton rag paper. The result of this afternoon will be an original hand-printed graphic artwork/etching created together.
