The Südtiroler Künstlerbund or South Tyrolean Artists Association is based in Bolzano (Italy) and was founded in 1946. It currently counts well over 500 active members spanning three generations. The STAA is an open forum linking artists with the public and its main focus lies in promoting emerging talent. Both the Association and SKB ARTES in-house art gallery are involved in showcasing the work of new artists and supports them by helping to devise project-based partnerships with both national and international galleries and related institutions in the visual arts, architecture, literature and composition.
