The World of Poetry

The first Lyrikkabinett in the SKB Artes spaces on Weggensteinstraße in Bolzano will explore the question of whether poetry, as one of the traditional literary genres, is still present in the contemporary literary scene and whether it remains relevant today. Despite the limited interest from publishers, poetry continues to thrive and is increasingly gaining international recognition.

Anne Marie Pircher, Nadia Rungger, and Bertrand Huber have, in recent years, drawn public attention to poetry through their collections.

On Wednesday, 19 February at 7:00 pm, they will read from their works at SKB Artes in Bolzano and engage in a discussion about the role of poetry today. The audience is warmly invited to join the discussion and interact with the authors. The session will be moderated by the literary scholar F. Delle Cave.
