Exhibition Call: Sport Meets Art

The Südtiroler Künstlerbund invites artists to submit concepts for art installations for the exhibition ‘Sport & Kunst’ at SKB ARTES (autumn 2025 – March 2026). The exhibition focuses on the 2026 Winter Olympics and highlights the successes and challenges of South Tyrolean athletes.

The exhibition combines seven Olympic medals with art installations that expand the emotional, physical and social dimensions of Olympic sport.

Artists are invited to design and transform the exhibition space with installations, with each medal presented in a separate room at SKB ARTES. The aim is to design the space in such a way that it reflects the emotions and experiences of the athletes, both visually and thematically. The selection will be made by an external jury.

Announcement of selected artists: by the end of May 2025

Delivery of works for the exhibition at SKB ARTES: by the end of November 2025

Exhibition opening: 12.12.2025

Duration of the exhibition: until 16.03.2026
