Presentation of the work Konglomerat

On the occasion of the Open Day at Raiffeisen Castelrotto-Ortisei, the artists will present their work to the public for the first time on 31 July 2025 at 6:00 pm.

As part of the art competition launched by the South Tyrolean Artists’ Association for the creation of a functional art object, Jasmine Deporta (Funes, IT) and Silvio Rebholz (Balingen, DE) are creating a large-scale installation for the advisory hall of Raiffeisen Castelrotto-Ortisei, composed of six local natural stones, bronze, felt, and photographs.

In the work Konglomerat, the photographer and the product designer interweave geology, local myths of the Sciliar area, and visual narration into a multilayered spatial composition. The combination of bench, sculptural elements, and textile motifs generates a narrative structure that links space and landscape. A dialogue emerges – a spatial fabric that carries within it an echo of the landscape.
