Artists Against Violence Against Women
The Red Boat on Tour
The Red Boat. Artists Against Violence Against Women is a social art project initiated by the South Tyrolean Artists’ Association and the association Erlebnis Pragser Wildsee in cooperation with the Provincial Advisory Board for Equal Opportunities. This important project brought together the works of 18 South Tyrolean artists who engaged with the theme.
The winning work, Floating Angel by Indra Moroder, is a striking short video shot at the Pragser Wildsee with the iconic red boat. In addition, an exclusive set of art cards was created: 18 cards presenting the works of the participating artists. The Female Empowerment initiative is supported by the Südtiroler Sparkasse Foundation.
From July 18 to September 30, 2025, The Red Boat – Artists Against Violence Against Women will be presented at the Südtiroler Sparkasse on Waltherplatz, Bolzano. The vernissage will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Südtiroler Sparkasse, Waltherplatz, Bolzano. Please register by July 15, 2025, at info@kuenstlerbund.org.
