Cultural research project

In this cultural research project at the primary school in Rodeneck, artist Karolina Gacke is working with pupils on the theme of Heimat. Together, they are decorating a wall in the school canteen, reflecting their creative ideas and thoughts. Fragments of old plates, brought in by the children from home, are being used and integrated into the wall to form buildings in the village of Rodengo.

The theme of Heimat is also currently being explored in the exhibition Konzept / Concetto Heimat at SKB Artes in Via Weggenstein in Bolzano, as well as in the Granaio di Nomi. The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Heimatpflegeverband Südtirol and the Municipality of Nomi.
