Start of the concert series as part of the exhibition

ALPS. ARCHITECTURE. SOUTH TYROL.

Curated by Marcello Fera with the support of the South Tyrolean Artists' Association and the Conductus Ensemble, Windkraft – Kapelle für Neue Musik, Ensemble Chromoson, Kunst Meran Merano Arte.

As part of the exhibition ALPS. ARCHITECTURE. SOUTH TYROL., curated by Filippo Bricolo and produced by Kunst Meran Merano Arte in collaboration with the South Tyrol Architecture Foundation and the South Tyrolean Artists' Association, the music series ARCHITECTURE OF SOUNDS will take place, offering a compact overview of South Tyrol's musical creativity.

ARCHITECTURE OF SOUNDS is a cycle of six events featuring four ensembles and several contemporary composers from South Tyrol. The concert series is dedicated to contemporary music, jazz and classical music. The participating ensembles are: Ensemble Conductus, Windkraft – Kapelle für Neue Musik, Ensemble Chromoson and Revensch. The series is curated by Marcello Fera and supported by the South Tyrolean Artists' Association.

In addition to Palazzo Cavanis, the concerts will also take place in the adjacent church of Santa Maria della Consolazione – in combination with the installation PERPETUO by Czech sculptor Veronika Kudláčková Psotková, kindly provided and in collaboration with ART VENICE FACTORY by Francesca Giubilei and Luca Berta.

L'ensemble Conductus diretto da Marcello Fera aprirà la rassegna con il programma The String Theory.

ALPS. ARCHITECTURE. SOUTH TYROL. is a project by Kunst Meran Merano Arte in collaboration with the South Tyrol Architecture Foundation and the South Tyrol Artists' Association, curated by Filippo Bricolo. The exhibition, which can be visited until 23 November 2025 at Palazzo Cavanis in Venice, presents an inventory of projects documenting the architectural landscape that developed in South Tyrol between 2018 and 2024. It tells the recent architectural history of the region and reflects the continuous changes in the urban landscape.

 

The ALPS. ARCHITECTURE. SOUTH TYROL. project and the ARCHITECTURE OF SOUNDS – ARCHITEKTUR DER KLÄNGE concert series are generously supported by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – Departments of German, Italian and Ladin Culture and the Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Bolzano Foundation.
