FLOATING ANGEL

21.11.2025

Film Screening · Reading · Discussion
21 November 2025, 6:00 PM · Foto Forum

Floating Angel – a video work by Indra Moroder, winner of the project The Red Boat, is a powerful cinematic reflection on female vulnerability, resilience, and solidarity. Created in the context of the art initiative The Red Boat – Artists Against Violence Against Women, the work lends the project a deeply personal and poetic dimension, expanding the artistic engagement with violence and liberation through a cinematic voice.

After the screening, Indra Moroder and Christine Clignon will join in conversation, moderated by Dr. Eva Gratl (SKB), to discuss artistic perspectives on violence prevention, feminist media work, and empowerment.

Christine Clignon, publicist, podcaster, and feminist activist, has produced, among others, the podcast series CI VOGLIAMO VIVE. Prevenire i femminicidi (We Want to Stay Alive. Preventing Femicide) and *FREE! – The Power of Women for a Life Free from Violence.

The Italian-language series CI VOGLIAMO VIVE explores the phenomenon of femicide without a voyeuristic lens – with empathy, solidarity, and a call to shared social responsibility: prevention can only succeed if the justice system, police, social and health services, schools, media, and each individual take action.

The bilingual podcast FREE! tells, in twelve episodes, the stories of women who have found paths out of violent relationships – honest, emotional, and encouraging. The series raises awareness, touches deeply, and shows how much strength there is in new beginnings.

Following the discussion, Indra Moroder will read selected poems from her work.

An event presented by Foto Forum as part of the project The Red Boat of the South Tyrolean Artists’ Association and the Association Erlebnis Pragser Wildsee – Artists Against Violence Against Women.
