CURA – Presentation of the Winning Works at Bolzano Hospital

On 1 October 2025 at 10:00 am, the South Tyrolean Artists’ Association, Cooperativa19, and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano invite you to the presentation of the winning works of the exhibition project CURA at Bolzano Hospital. The meeting point is the lobby of the New Hospital. The awarded works will be on permanent display in the corridor between the New and the Old Hospital.

With the fifth edition of its art acquisitions, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano, together with the South Tyrolean Artists’ Association and Cooperativa19, supports young artists in South Tyrol. The aim is to bring contemporary art into the often anonymous spaces of the hospital, thereby fostering the well-being of patients, visitors, and staff.

This year’s call was dedicated exclusively to the medium of painting on the theme CURA – a concept that stands for care, attentiveness, and healing. The artworks are intended to open up emotional perspectives, contribute to the atmosphere, and highlight the importance of human connection and attention.

Previously, the 38 submitted works were exhibited for one month at SKB ARTES in Bolzano, where they attracted a wide audience. A professional jury then selected 15 works, which were acquired by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bolzano and are now presented at Bolzano Hospital.
