Duo Mozzarellalight: To fade in

Water – a floating matter and a moving organism – takes center stage in perception. It is no longer just a simple element, but a living body that changes over time and generates unstable, quiet microsystems within itself. Every moment produces a new image, like a photograph that eludes capture. An apparition that cannot be contained, appearing only briefly – just to vanish again. The installation will be especially visible during the darker hours of the day, like in a photographic process in which the image slowly emerges on film.

In a world where digital images have become the dominant form of memory, the exhibition Rauschen explores what escapes capture. These are images in a transitional state, in which remnants of a digital archive reveal an alternative form of imagery. Their disturbances create a resistance – against the claim to completeness and against the smoothness of perfected visual worlds. A digital palimpsest, in which memory is neither preserved nor discarded, but transformed.
