I invite you to join me for a walk along the Bozen Oswald Promenade! Many of the face photos featured in my new book were taken there:
„verwurzelt&versteinert -GsichterGschichtn“ combines prose, poetry, and songs inspired by faces I discovered and photographed in stone, rock, trees, and roots. Alongside the book, music was released (songs arranged by multi-instrumentalist and singer Daniel Faranna) as well as an exhibition of “listening pictures” (photographs equipped with QR codes or sound modules leading to short audio plays or songs). Daniel Faranna and I now present this cross-disciplinary project on stage as a storytelling cabaret at the intersection of literature, music, and visual art (video production by Stefan Ghedina).
During our walk, Daniel and I will happily share stories about the creative process behind the stories and songs, and perhaps we’ll discover a new face and hear what it has to tell us... :)
Additionally, we offer the opportunity to hold a house concert for you, your family, friends, or guests at your home or company. (If there’s no space, we can use the Frei.Raum at SKB.)
