The Stiftung Südtiroler Sparkasse and the Südtiroler Künstlerbund have announced the seventh edition of an open competition for a scholarship abroad for young artists in the field of visual arts.
Deadline for applications: 14 March 2025
Study period:
4 August – 28 October 2025
In 2019, the South Tyrolean Savings Bank Foundation and the South Tyrolean Artists' Association acquired a studio space at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris for South Tyrol for the first time, with one occupancy right per year.
In 2025, a studio space at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (www.citedesartsparis.net) will be awarded for the seventh time. The Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, supported by a French foundation, offers artists from all over the world living and working facilities in 326 studios.
The scholarship is intended for the artistic development of professional artists and young talent. The stay abroad is intended to enable the recipient to gain an understanding and knowledge of the culture of the host country, to study developments in the local art scene, to establish contacts, to exchange ideas, to gain inspiration and, as a result, to organise an exhibition in Bolzano in the new exhibition rooms of the Artists' Association after the scholarship has ended.
