A first important partner for the residency programs is Nucleo in Ghent, with whom a pilot project for a regular exchange has been initiated. The program begins with a residency by the South Tyrolean artist Maya Fluss, who will be working in Ghent from April to May 2026.

“The NUCLEO residency offers me the opportunity to gain new perspectives and creative impulses that will further deepen my ongoing research from a queer-feminist perspective and elevate my engagement with landscapes, bodies, and patriarchal structures to a new level,” says Maya Fluss.

At the same time, an open call is currently underway for an artist from Belgium who will undertake a residency in Bolzano this autumn. Further international collaborations are already in planning, including an exchange program with the Horanggasy Creative Studio International Residency Program in Gwangju (South Korea) through the Longega Project, as well as initiatives in the fields of literature and music composition.

The selection of participating artists is carried out through open calls, ensuring transparency and quality. The programs are accompanied by selected mentors from the respective fields.
