I warmly invite you to visit me in my studio in Ortisei.
During this meeting, I will try to offer you an insight into my artistic work. You’ll have the opportunity to gain an overview of my life's work – from its beginnings to the present day.
I will show you pieces from different creative periods, executed in a variety of techniques and materials. In addition to sculptural works, you will also see sketches and drawings.
For my sculptures, I work not only with wood and bronze, but also with stone and terracotta.
My search for a personal visual language has gradually led me to reduce the human form to simpler lines and shapes. Through this process, the figures appear more spiritual and understated, requiring time and calm from the viewer in order to engage in a deeper dialogue with them.
Recently, I have increasingly drawn inspiration from natural found objects – humble, fragile pieces of wood discovered in the forest, shaped by ants or other insects. Through my artistic intervention, I try to give these delicate forms greater meaning and visibility.
