Open Call: Artists’ Flags for the Antholz Valley

The Südtiroler Künstlerbund (SKB), the Eck Museum of Art, and the Antholz Tourism Association announce an open call for the design of artists’ flags for the Antholz Valley.

Each year, two new flags will be selected and installed at the entrance to the valley in the public space, becoming part of a long-term, continuously growing public art project.

The call seeks contemporary artistic positions that engage with the valley’s place, landscape, culture, and society. The selected works will expand the existing flag installation, which was initiated as part of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.

The competition is open to visual artists from South Tyrol. Each selected project will receive an artist’s fee of €1,500, and production costs will be fully covered.
