SKB Children’s Summer Art Courses 2026

Following the great success of recent years, the Südtiroler Künstlerbund will once again offer art courses for children and young people in summer 2026 in collaboration with its members. In three one-week workshops, participants will have the opportunity to work creatively, experiment, and discover their own forms of expression.

Starting on June 22, 2026, three art courses for primary and middle school students will be held on three different dates. The courses will take place in the Frei.Raum of the Südtiroler Künstlerbund, Weggensteinstrasse 12, Bolzano.

The workshops run from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. In small groups, children will explore various artistic processes under the guidance of experienced artists. They will work with a wide range of materials and engage playfully with space, language, movement, image, and sound, while developing their own ideas and projects together. The aim is to offer children and young people an open creative space where imagination, curiosity, and collaborative creation take center stage.

Course Programme 2026

Course 1: June 22–26, 2026, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Anna Iduna Bonell – “Fantastic Animal Worlds” (Primary and middle school)

Course 2: June 29 – July 3, 2026, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Daniela Trocker – “Animate Your Favourite Word” (Primary and middle school)

Course 3: August 31 – September 4, 2026, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Nora Gutwenger & Rina Treml – “Constructed Worlds of Wonder” (Primary and middle school)

Participants are dropped off in the morning between 8:00 and 8:30 am and picked up at midday between 12:30 and 1:00 pm. The fee for the art week is 90 euros per child. A minimum of 7 participants per course is required for the courses to take place; the maximum number of participants is 12.
