I invite you...
on a journey to the beyond....................... and back.
Just as Dante is led by Virgil out of the dark forest and meets the singer friend Sordello, so too immerse yourself in this magnificent world of poetry. Let my freely translated commentary from Italian introduce you to one of the 100 cantos of Dante’s Divine Comedy, this monumental poem of humanity. Listen to the German translation by Blasius Marsoner, our South Tyrolean poet, who writes: “All the feelings that move, elevate, and shake the human heart have found perfect expression in Dante’s immortal poem, to which, according to the poet’s own words, heaven and earth lent their hands.”
Prof. Rüdiger Safranski writes: “Dante is so rich that he can be translated again and again. This translation by B. Marsoner, with its strict and virtuoso iambic tetrameter, has its own special charm.” About our commentaries, Safranski writes: “I find the commentaries excellent... so praise all around.”
Accompanied by my daughter, Lara Maria Clara, singer and pianist, I offer you an hour filled with poetry and music, a time full of meaning.
This can take place at our home or at a celebration organized by you (birthday, name day, wedding anniversary, gathering of friends, etc.).
We are ready... and look forward to meeting you.
Anna Johanna Schwellensattl Clara and Lara Maria Clara
P.S. A book and a surprise text will not be missing!
